The PCDForum Information Service grew out of a request by InterAction, a consortium body of U.S. international relief and development nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that the PCDForum provide a series of columns for its newsletter. These were shared with the PCDForum contributing editors and various cooperating organizations to be reproduced or reprinted in their newsletters.
